Description

Not long ago, a shipment of silver was stolen from our guard tower. It was meant as payroll to the Crossroads' guards, and we want that silver back.

The strange thing is... we caught one of the thieves on the night of the theft. And... it was a raptor! Unbelievable!

I don't know what raptors would want with silver. But I don't care -- I want the raptors dead so they won't steal from us again!

Hunt raptors in the Barrens. Collect for me their heads!

The raptor grounds south of ratchet have the highest concentration. Also where the stolen silver is located. Very nice instead of running around the barrens looking for random raptors.

Raptor Grounds raptors are level 18, you get the quest at around 12. Stick with the ones around the barrens.

Theres also some level 13 and 14 raptors on that moutain south of the stagnant oasis(Coords 59:45)

Raptors have a 100% droprate for the heads. WoWhead might say less because you only get the when working on the quest.

A high number of raptors can be found south of Stagnant Oasis. but there a high level like 16-18

On the coordinates 58,45 there is a mountain you can get up, when i went there, there were a lot of Sunscale Screechers (w/ Raptor Heads), while I was up there, there was about 5 to 10 of them all within 40 yards of eachother

On your map, the large mountain north of Northwatch Hold has 15+ raptors on top of it. Like other great heights in the Barrens, there are several 'legs' of ground that let you ascend the sides with some crafty jumping. If you're on this quest and everyone's killing all of the easy to access ones, head down there (or up, if you're near Camp Taurajo) and it gets finished in no time.

Changed in Cataclysm. Travel to the small raptor camp NW of Ratchet. Once you approach close to the camp you will get a quest complete message and an opportunity to immediately complete the quest and receive the follow up quest ""http://cata.aowow.org/https://vanillawowdb.com/?quest=3281#screenshots Stolen Silver"".
