Eranikus, Tyrant of the Dream

Additional requirements to obtain this quest:
Travel to the continent of Teldrassil and find Malfurion's agent somewhere outside the walls of Darnassus.

Description

This is a journey of redemption, hero. Would it be that I was slain today, I would have died for a just and righteous cause. You must recover the green scepter shard. You must cleanse Eranikus of the taint placed upon him by the Old Gods.

Travel to Darnassus. Just outside the city walls you will find one of my agents. This agent will set things in motion for us and inform Tyrande of our plans without alerting Staghelm.

<Malfurion sighs.>

A fall from grace a thousand years in the making...

The wisp is silent except for a low humming sound. Oddly enough, it is able to communicate with you through thoughts.

The formerly ""broken"" Questline of Eranikus finds itself prolonged - but you need Neutral reputation with the Brood of Nozdormu (36.000 rep) and a good raid guild, since you WILL need to kill one green dragon in the Hinterlands, Feralas, Ashenvale and Duskwood. Each.

How does one become neutral with them, if their hated? It's not by much but they still hate me a little. Which mobs can I kill to become more friendly like with Brood of Nozdormu?

You will find Malfurion inside Sunken Temple at the very last boss, should appear infront of Eranikus.

I do realise it's shown on the screenshot-thingy, but not everyone knows ST well enough to know that. :)

This quest is of course one of the most annoying, and plot holed quests in Warcraft Lore, especially if you play a Horde character.

Malfurion is able to communicate with his agent, yet cannot have his agent tell the guards not to attack you as you run through Darnassus to get to his agent. Secondly, the wisp is able to communicate both with Tyrande and you, so we can presume that the wisp understands both Darnassian and &lt;Insert either Common, Orcish or other racial language&gt;. This leads me to question why the wisp does not just teach you Darnassian so you can go talk to Tyrande yourself, or at least tell the guards not to attack you as you run back out through Darnassus. Or if that is too much, at the very least, offer to teleport you to Moonglade (or have one of the druids do that if that is too powerful of a spell for a wisp to cast), since time is of the essence after all, and it would be a tragic loss if the one who holds the fate of the world in their hands was killed by the people who are telling you what you should do to save the world!

I mean, c'mon Blizzard... This just doesn't make any sense.

OK,....in order to get that stupid Shade Dragon to wake up you must do the following things.
1) Get yourself into the Hall of the Cursed by going up a path, it is not the first two pillars going up and down on your right and left as you come in. It's one of the others...

2) When inside Hall of the Cursed, it's a ring you run around, very long. There are secret passages on the left and right, go in each one, and find these Trolls who are summoning , with a green aura over their heads. KILL THEM ALL! The trolls must die before Shade awakens.

3) The Trolls who summon are named.. Zul'Lor, Zolo, Mijan, Hukku, and Loro. They are a easy to find one you get one killed. Also you can generally kill one, and look over to the far left or right and see another with the green aura summoning. Kill the Troll Summoners.

4) When all the Troll summoners are dead you will hear Yelling Roleplay and hear that the Shield is down.
