Just did Eranikus in a 5man party without problems (Feral/Resto Shaman/Elemental Shaman/Rogue/Destro Lock).

Shades are evading and reseting a lot, which is anyoing, but allows you to eat/drink if you are getting overruned. You can heal Remulus, in case he's taking to much damage (tho, he was healing himself alot).

Shades are doing Shadowbolt Volley for 500 damage, and Fear lasting 2 seconds. Both are resisted heavily, becouse of level adventage (lvl62 vs 70).

Eranikus, from what I've seen, had 3 abilities. A stacking Acid Breath (150 every 3 sec per stack, or something like that) and Noxious Breath, which increase cooldown of your abilities by 10 seconds (lasts 30), so watch your threat ;). Also does Shadowbolt Volley (30-40 yard range) for 1,5k damage.

He hits for around 800-1200 damage, with 2-2,5 sec swing.

At around 50% (or was it time based?) Tyrande and her Priestesses comes to help. Tyrande (i think) casts Moonfire, that does pathetic damage, and Mass Healing - 4,5k HP every 2 seconds, for 12 seconds.

At 20% he's redeemed, and appears (server wide?) warning: ""Eranikus, Tyrant of the Dream, is wholly consumed by the Light of Elune. Tranquility sets in over the Moonglade""

After small talk with Tyrande, everyone get's credit (when taking quest, you get a pop up like with Escort quests, so you can have multiple people doing it).

Beware while doing this quest. We were using AoE to get the Shades down and a Horde walked into the AoE. Since the Nighthaven is a Neutral guarded territory all the guards become hostile and promptly died in the AoE, causing serious amounts of rep loss for group members, up to 9000 Cenarion Circle rep lost.

Soloed event as a lvl 80 feral druid. Wasn't too easy, took a few tries so i'll put info about my gear/stats to get an idea what to expect.

Gear: ilvl 213 head, 3 x iLvl 200 blues, all other tems were iLvl 200 epic (heroics/10 man).

Stats (unbuffed): 27800 hp, 22200 armor, 39% dodge; 4750 ap, 180 hit, 34% crit, 38 expertise.

Main idea is not to be a hero and tank everything :) Use Keeper Remulos and all those small guys as offtanks. Shadowmeld is extremly helpful there. Try to time it so you don't get a shadow/posion bolt right after leaving combat. Eat/drink/bandage/heal and go back into the fight.

It's possible that you will die at some point. Don't be afraid of it - just run back. Make sure you use the fastest route.

==== SHADES ====

Try not to agro them all. Let them pat away to moonglade guys. Prob 5-6 shades on you is optimal. When you fight them with Remulos they do a wierd thing (maybe it's normal i dunno): run away from you for a few seconds, evade, get full health and come back. So make sure you focus on 1 shade at a time. Just nuke 1, maybe 2 before they reset. In this way you can kill them all np.

If you get too many shades on you and Remulos can't heal that, try shadowmeld trick 1st. If it doesn't work - just kill as many as you can before you die, then run back. Shades are tauntable and stunnable so if Remulos is up by the time you return you can get them under control pretty fast.

=== ERANIKUS ===

Dragon does enough dps to kill you before help arrives so you gotta use all your cooldowns 1st, then shadowmeld. It's harder than shade part because most of the time you will have a dot on you and there are a lot of shadow (posion?) bolts flying around. Plus a debuff that slows down you abilities.

Probably the best thing to do is weapon switch, shadowmeld, healing touch, then back to bear. Or you can try to run into the building and drink (didn't try).

Dragon is taunt immune so don't run away for too long. I failed 1 attempt because was unable to get agro back from Remulos.

In my case help arrived right after my 1st death when Eranikus was at 2 mil hp. Those priests are helpful, but looks like sometimes they forget how to heal or heal those mobs/Remulos instead of you.

Just soloed as a lvl 80 mut rogue, one of the most thrilling moments I had in WoW.

Buffs
Tank flask, stam scroll, stam food, health pots, bandages. 18000 hp fully buffed with a mix match of heroic, and regular epics.

Stage 1 stay in the building dont go be a hero (as stated above) Remulos will follow you around so stay clear of large packs of shades. Let the non-stop spawning moonglades guards handle the shades for the most part. Shades are stunable so pool energy for your stuns. As mentioned before they will evade a lot so use that time to eat, and bandage. Once the shades in the building are dead slowly pull 1 or 2 shades from outside back to the building to kill. Be careful Remulos will go after anything you tag. At some point Eranikus will be targetable, dont worry about him, let Eranikus eat the moonglade guards for a bit. Finish off the shades first.

Stage 2 Let Remulos engage Eranikus let him tank it for a little bit. Around once Remulos has lost about 25% HP lay into Eranikus with everything you got. You will pull agro pretty quickly allowing Remulos to self heal. Blow all your cool downs including evasion. Remulos will heal you some, but not enough and you will eventually die which is ok because by that time Remulos will be at full health again. Run straight across the lake up the hill where the lunar fest takes place and rez. Bandage, pot, rescroll, ect. By this time Remulos is low again so once again give Eranikus all you got to pull agro. Hopefully the reinforcements will arrive to help heal and dps. Once the reinforcements arrive you shouldnt die, but if you do die make a bee line right back and rez.

I just did this as a level 80 Protection Paladin.

Phase 1 was the hardest, and I wiped once because of getting too many shades on me and Remulos at the same time.

Do NOT start running towards the shades if they've strayed too far away from the house, as they'll eventually reset and run back to their spawn point. If you do run towards them, you'll quickly be surrounded by 20+ mobs, chain-fearing you around.

Just stay close to the house and you'll be fine, Remulos should be able to keep you alive.

Once Eranikus arrives, get full health before taking him over and turning him away from the mobs. His breath never stacked more than once, but the DoT reached 18 stacks by the time I had killed him.

His damage is really nothing to worry about, but I used Shadow Resistance aura to prevent being nuked by the volley. Remulos will keep healing you when tanking, and if you use Seal/Judgement of Light, you won't have any health issues untill the DoT stacks past 10. By this time, however, there shouldn't be long till Tyrande arrives, and she along with Remulos can easily keep you alive.

I didn't use any special cooldowns apart from my trinket, granting 440 Block Value for 20 seconds. If needed, you can use Divine Shield to reset the DoT, or Lay on Hands if the heals aren't enough to keep you up.

I did have a 80 druid joining in at 80% though, so he went down a little faster. But seeing how easily I could survive the damage, it should be doable with only the NPCs

Like everything else, easy as lvl 80 tankadin. ""Full"" lvl 213 epic.

This is by far the most epic chain I've done, and this fight was really cool. Mobs tended to evade alot though.

You first talk to Keeper Remulos, then he runs and summons him, just follow him.
Eranikus summons tons of ""ghost mobs"", and the guards will help. When you've killed enough of ghosts, Eranikus will yell something which I don't remember and land. I just picked him up, and he put a nasty debuff that turned some of my spells to be 10sec longer cd. And a debuff that stacked up to 35 times before he was dead/cleansed, which at the end did about 3500 nature dmg/tick at the end. Not sure.

You get healed by Remulos during the fight, and he kept me almost at top all the time so, don't worry too much about it.
Anyways, an epic fight, and an epic ending of the fight. More and more NPCs will help during the fight. It took about 20min+ for me alone.

Server message will pop when you're done:
""Eranikus, Tyrant of the Dream, is wholly consumed by the Light of Elune. Tranquility sets in over the Moonglade.""

If you get the chance of doing this chain, do it!

Just did this fight today: EPIC!
Not too many people do the Scepter line anymore as it involves downing many world bosses and running around/farming rare mats, but it is worth the sense of accomplishment and the old world bosses, are definitely worth their weight in the ""now for something different' category.

Just a small note, Remulous will stick by the quest holder. If you get too far from him (like an escort) it fails. Also, if he dies during the fight, it fails. If this happens, run back and go get him again and continue fight. Good point previously mentioned; stay in cover with him as much as you can, and work on small numbers of shades at a time. if you run out of mobs, pull a specific few to your location.

Soloed as a level 80 Survival Hunter on my first attempt.

I did not have to use any flasks or potions during the fight. Just bandages and https://vanillawowdb.com/?spell=55503 Lifeblood. Keeper Remlos periodically casts https://vanillawowdb.com/?spell=20665 Regrowth on anything that isn't at 100% health. This was ticking for around 1000. Also I was using the https://vanillawowdb.com/?spell=37381 Tier 5 2 piece bonus for my pet.

Phase 1
I had my pet tank the shades, being careful to only aggro 2-3 at a time. I tried to stay in the house most of the time to avoid pulling too many at once. Using https://vanillawowdb.com/?spell=34477 Misdirection on my pet I would run out of the house to pull a couple, then run back in and burn them down. I had a lot of trouble with them evade bugging, so just focus on one at a time instead of trying to AoE.

Phase 2
From here it's basically a tank and spank. After Eranikus landed I misdirected my pet and made sure to keep https://vanillawowdb.com/?spell=48990 Mend Pet up at all times. Just keep your pet alive and watch your aggro. Keeper Remulos was also keeping my pet topped most of the time. It gets harder to heal your pet as the fight progresses due to the stacking https://vanillawowdb.com/?spell=24839 debuff. I had Eranikus at about 30% when Tyrande and her priests show up.

After Eranikus was at 20% the event finished, but I did not see a server-wide emote. So they must have removed it.

If your a hunter trying to solo this I would strongly recommend using the https://vanillawowdb.com/?spell=37381 Tier 5 set bonus if you have it. If you don't then I think with a strong BM spec and https://vanillawowdb.com/?item=42900 Glyph of Mending it should be possible.

Soloing this as a healer:

Since so far everyone had posted about soloing it as tank classes, and even one post about soloing it as a rogue, I decided to opt out of using my feral spec, and do this as resto, to help any healers who may be considering it.

First of all, let me assure you that it can be done as a healer. I'm a http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Proudmoore&cn=Awataria resto druid, (in a mix of Ulduar/ToTC hard mode gear, avg item level of 230.1, in case I'm in my feral spec when you look), I buffed with cuttlesteak food, and an intellect VI scroll I happened to have in my bag. Didn't bother with a flask. I also kept thorns on myself and Remulos, (3/3 Brambles, cast while at 3k spell power with trinket buff).
 • Regrowth/Rejuv will overwrite Remulos' own Regrowth/Rejuv spells, also, he will still waste time casting his own even when yours are up, despite the fact that they will not overwrite. But this isn't a big deal because Remmy's dps sucks anyway.
 • The majority of the shades must die before Eranikus will engage. I tried waiting around for him and eventually went out to find some shades of my own. Once the second pull (quite large) was dead, Eranikus engaged.
 • Some shades will engage early on, you'll get around 3 or 4, the guards have very low hp, and will die. Don't bother healing them, just burn down the shades one at a time.
 • When a guard dies, the shade who killed it will grow in size, and have increased damage. The shades do hurt, and in large numbers can whittle your health away very quickly. I had to shadowmeld a couple times while I got the hang of the encounter. If you wait around all day to pull the second group of shades, you will quite likely be dealing with some very large and very powerful shades. Don't make my mistake and hide in the building.
 • The packs of nighthaven defenders have 15k hp and are elite, as opposed to the ones that assist you for the encounter which have around 4k. The nighthaven defenders cannot be healed or buffed. They are incapable of killing the shades on their own, after the entire event was finished, I found a few shades still lingering in remote areas of the village, in combat with respawning clusters of defenders. Be nice and get rid of these before you leave, you don't want to traumatize some level 10 druid coming to moonglade for the first time, right?
 • If you accidentally aggro every shade in the village, like I did (it's easy to do), run like hell, shadowmeld or use an invis pot (I strongly recommend bringing one if you can't shadowmeld), and then heal the crap out of Remulos while dpsing the largest shade in the pack. He holds decent aggro, once they get onto him, you should be safe to do your thang.
 • Eranikus will let you know when he's sufficiently annoyed with you killing his shades. I should mention, that if you don't want the fight to last for an hour, equip some +hitrating gear. Hope you read ahead before starting the fight, if not, I hope you have a good book to read.
 • You should be able to heal Remulos and zap Eranikus without being in range of his breath. Remulos is very easy to keep healed at this point. I alternated between healing and dpsing, as my mana recovered very quickly while healing him, and it was easy to pace myself.
 • By standing so that you are the point of a triangle, with Eranikus and Remulos forming the base, you should be able to be in range to heal and dps, and not get hit with the breath. If you cannot get the distance to work in your favor, the breath is very similar to the other world dragons. It deals minor damage, and causes any action to have a 10 second cooldown. Like the other versions, you may keep your spellbook open and use different ranks of spells, the cooldown only affects the rank of the spell you cast. Unlike other versions, this effect will not stack above 10 seconds.
 • Once enough damage has been dealt, you will hear Tyrande yell. Don't freak out and wonder if she's bugged, she will yell very early in the fight, but won't appear until enough damage has been dealt to Eranikus. Enjoy the dialogue, and grats, you just soloed the green scepter shard as a healer. Warning: Attempting this with other dragons may result in loss of life, limb, or eyesight.

I was pleased to discover that I had indeed left this quest unfinished until I could have fun during the Lunar Festival.

However, after unleashing a horde of angry shades and a dragon upon the unsuspecting masses, it was a disappointment that almost no one reacted at all. Everyone just seems too jaded or too busy doing one more thing for their drake to even be bothered. Zone-wide yells and chaos? Scripted events? Something they have likely never seen before? Since there is no loot involved I suppose they don't care.

Oh well.

She still does her ""yell"" emotes, but never arrives, and no emotes that aren't zone-wide. Very strange, and somewhat disappointing. Most recently the group consisted of myself (60 Druid), an 80 prot pally, and some 80 hunter who wanted revenge for the shades killing her lowbie druid.

Solo'd Ret pally, mostly T9 equiv gear, 226+. Hardest part is balancing the all abilities 10secs CD addon. Note that Remulos is very good at keeping himself up alone, just keep any stray shades off him once he starts on Eranikus.

Biggest thing to keep eye on is your debuffs, the natural dmg stackable is harsh try to stay back after 5-8 for the nearly 1 min. Remulos will be find, wait for that debuff to drop then head back in get on Eranikus and continue till 50% then more healers will arrive allow you to go to nearly 10 stacks. At 20% you win.

Died a couple times; healed Remulos a bit, but as long as you can get back to him before he dies, you can ""zerg"" the fight.

A few others who happened to be in the area joined in the fight.

It's not difficult, but 4-5 shades will rip thru a clothie really quickly.... don't try to AoE them down.

- I never got below 90% health.
- Remulos kept himself up. He did scare me once at about 50% and I put Gift of the Naru on him. Next time I looked he was at 100%.
- The shades are annoying when they reset and you will have to chase them.
- Eranikus either couldnt hurt me or Remulous/Tyrande kept me up. It was a slow burn but he went down.

Well i soloed this easily as 80 ret paladin in pvp gear but you should really bring a friend. I'll just recap few things you need to know.

1. Remulus will escort you to Nightheaven into one of the houses
2. Shades with 50k hp starts to spawn ... lots of them. At some point i had like 10 on me. I didnt get feared once possibly coz i resisted all and shadow aura helped to minimize every hit from their aoe shadow bolts. I guess this part could be the biggest problem for cloth classes.
3. After that Eranikus lands (with 2,7 milion hp) and starts to attack. If you are not in his melee range he wont chase you, but he will attack Remulus who can tank for some time but not indefinitely. Also guards will help a lot. Eranikus has 2 things to worry about:
a) debuff that increases CD of all of your abilities for 10 sec
b) nature dmg dot that stacks
You can reset both by just running into one of the houses and waiting for about 20-30 sec. At 4-5 stacks of dot i started to drop low so i had to run, heal then get back into fight.

Tyrande saved the day at 20% and quest is done. Really one of the most epic (with epic quest rewards!) chains i have ever seen in WoW. This must have been quite a challenge to finish at lvl 60.

For some reason this quest has become 230% more buggy. The Shades do not stay in one place when you are attacking them and evade-reset constantly, and if one goes through all of the pain of soloing Eranikus, all of the NPCs despawn when Eranikus lies down and you fail the quest.

The shades are by far the most challenging part, as Remulos keeps you pretty well healed while fighting Eranikus. He seems more reluctant to heal while fighting the shades for some reason. Just to note: I did not get Tyrande's healing buff, though it would not have made the fight any easier.

It was about 10 minutes from the time Eranikus called forth the shades to when the fight ended.

If you are a squishy rogue make sure to have some sort of heals (lifeblood, bandages, food) and lots of stamina then go in with a plan. Ow.

Edit: One month later with better gear and a better solo spec I managed to solo this by having a plan by STAYING INSIDE and defended Remulos until Eranikus came down.

I didn't see it mentioned but since I'm one of those weirdos who love storyline and a player was in the process of this quest while I was in Moonglade, I decided to write down the scripted scene and share it here.

First Remulos walks through Nighthaven to the platform where the Lunar Festival vendors stand and says this to the player:<div class=""quote"">The rift will be opened there, above Lake Elun'ara. Prepare yourself, <name?. Eranikus's entry into our world will be wrought with chaos and strife.

He will stop at nothing to get to Malfurion's physical manifestation. That must not happen... We must keep the beast occupied long enough for Tyrande to arrive.

Defend Nighthaven, hero...He then summons the rift, and this conversation happens, all in yells:<div class=""quote"">Eranikus, Tyrant of the Dream: Pitiful, predictable mortals... You know not what you have done! The Master's will fulfilled. the Moonglade shall be destroyed and Malfurion along with it!

Keeper Remulos: Fiend! Face the might of Cenarius!

Eranikus, Tyrant of the Dream lets loose a sinister laugh.

Eranikus: You are certainly not your father, insect. Should it interest me, I would crush you with but a swipe of my claws. Turn Shan'do Stormrage over to me and your pitiful life will be spared along with the lives of your people.

Remulos: Who is the predictable one, beast? Surely you did not think that we would summon you on top of Malfurion? Your redemption comes, Erankius. You will be cleansed of this madness - this corruption.

Eranikus: My redemption? You are bold, little one. My redemption comes by the will of my god.

Eranikus, Tyrant of the Dream roars furiously.

Eranikus: Rise, servants of the Nightmare! Rise and destroy this world! Let there be no survivors...The fight begins - Nightmare Phantasms spawn everywhere.<div class=""quote"">Eranikus, Tyrant of the Dream yells: Where is your savior? How long can you hold out against my attacks? The message that appears anytime someone dies is:

Nightmare Phantasm drinks in the suffering of the fallen.

I am sorry to report I didn't get a chance to see any more of the script since Tyrande failed to show up no matter what the player did, even though he reset it about three times.

Just soloed the quest as a lvl 80 shadowpriest(GS 5.1). Picking off one or 2 of the shades at the time is recomended. They still hit pretty hard when theres 5-6 of them pounding you. Only part where i really found it hard, was when Eranikus landed and Remulos started tanking him. Although he was healing himself, he was taking lots of damage(specially from the stacking poison that i couldent remove). So i had to pop out of shadowform to heal him, nerfing my mana so i couldent dps properly. With pots and cooldowns i managed to keep remulos alive till Tyrande arrived(80%). At that point the adds slowly took over the healing of remulos, and i could go all out dps on Eranikus, finishing the event.

Just solo'd this as a MM hunter (fairly well geared - GS 6141). I was a little nervous and was trying to find a healer to help out. This took two attempts as the first attempt ""bugged out.""

So I dropped the quest and was going back to Remulos and there were two Nightmare Phantasms in the Inn as you enter Nighthaven, maybe why the guards were running to and fro. So I kill the shades and go restart the quest and do what everyone said previously; stay in the house, heal and misdirect pet, pull a few at a time, etc. I Killed all of the shades at under Eranikus but a few were still evading across the second bridge. I killed those all one by one and out of the side of my screen I see Erikanus is on the ground. All the NPC's are attacking, sent in pet with Growl on, hit mend pet and start on the shot priority. Remulos never looked in trouble but I let my pet get too low on health and he eventually died.

The little rise in the bridge caused the pet to be out of LOS and my Mends were not landing. After pet died, Eranikus was around 30ish%, I FD'ed and blew all my cool downs and that was that. Now to farm more Elementium ore.

The NPC's seemed to do most of the work. Take the shades slowly, one or two at a time. rinse and repeat. If they evade you are in luck, heal/mana up and go grab some more, keeping an eye on the Dragon. I am pretty sure there was still a shade up when he landed and in fact, there were 2 more in that same Inn when I went back to turn in the quest.

I was never below 85%ish but had to switch into Aspect of the Viper a couple of times to regen mana. I only did about 4.2K DPS on the shades but only took approx. 16K in damage. Used one Healthstone and one Mana pot. During The Eranikus portion, I did about 9.2K DPS and took 2635 in damage and no healing. Why is it that pets growl can create so much threat (I love it.)? I can definately see how this can be difficult for classes that cannot drop aggro, squishy, no HP regen abilities or do not have a pet. If that is the case, bring somone to HoT you up and you'll be fine.

I soloed as a lvl 80 shadow priest. I made sure at the beginning that i stay well in side the house as to not pull more mobs to me. I then proceeded to single target each one down making sure i only had the aggro of one at a time as they still hit me pretty hard. I then carefully left the house in order to pull next mob (Remmy will run to whoever you attack next) at this point I started to get more then one pack, but because of evasion bugs in the fight i was able to get my mana back and not have to worrabout Remmy so much since he then gets all his health back.

After killing all of the nightmares Eranikus wil activate and I ended up tanking him most of the time. For some reason Remmy stopped healing me and I kept getting the debuff of a 10 sec CD on all abilities meaning (renew, Holy Nova, Fade, Greater Heal) kept Inner fire up on myself along with Power Word: Shield. Then at 50% Tyrande comes and at 20% you win. Good luck and the key is to not pull a lot at once.

I gave this ago today some issues with it.

First time I did as many as you have explained and stayed in the building however, even when I killed a few, and before I left the building 10-20 shades would come in and aggro Remlos, second time the evade thing happened but didn't capitalise on it enough and Remlos died at about 30%. Third and Fourth are repeats of my first attempt.

Soloed as enhancement shaman. Difficult and wonderful fight, i used almost everything! I didn't cast it, but maybe nature resistance totem could be useful.

Keeper Remulos says: The rift will be opened there, above Lake Elun'ara. Prepare yourself, Susa. Eranikus's entry into our world will be wrought with chaos and strife.
Keeper Remulos says: He will stop at nothing to get to Malfurion's physical manifestation. That must not happen... We must keep the beast occupied long enough for Tyrande to arrive.
Keeper Remulos says: Defend Nighthaven, hero...

Eranikus, Tyrant of the Dream yells: Pitiful, predictable mortals... You know not what you have done! The Master's will fulfilled. The Moonglade shall be destroyed and Malfurion along with it!

Keeper Remulos yells: Fiend! Face the might of Cenarius!

Eranikus, Tyrant of the Dream yells: You are certainly not your father, insect. Should it interest me, I would crush you with but a swipe of my claws. Turn Shan'do Stormrage over to me and your pitiful life will be spared along with the lives of your people.

Keeper Remulos yells: Who is the predictable one, beast? Surely you did not think that we would summon you on top of Malfurion? Your redemption comes, Eranikus. You will be cleansed of this madness - this corruption.

Eranikus, Tyrant of the Dream yells: My redemption? You are bold, little one. My redemption comes by the will of my god.
Eranikus, Tyrant of the Dream yells: Rise, servants of the Nightmare! Rise and destroy this world! Let there be no survivors...

Keeper Remulos says: Hurry, Susa! We must find protective cover!
Keeper Remulos says: We will battle these fiends, together! Nighthaven's Defenders are also among us. They will fight to the death if asked. Now, quickly, we must drive these aberrations back to the Nightmare. Destroy them all!

Eranikus, Tyrant of the Dream yells: Where is your savior? How long can you hold out against my attacks?
Eranikus, Tyrant of the Dream yells: Defeated my minions? Then face me, mortals!

<Lands and attacks>

Eranikus, Tyrant of the Dream yells: Remulos, look how easy they fall before me? You can stop this, fool. Turn the druid over to me and it will all be over...

Tyrande yells: Elune, hear my prayers. Grant us serenity! Watch over our fallen...
Tyrande yells: Seek absolution, Eranikus. All will be forgiven...

Eranikus, Tyrant of the Dream yells: IT BURNS! THE PAIN... SEARING...
Eranikus, Tyrant of the Dream yells: WHY? Why did this happen to ... to me? Where were you Tyrande? Where were you when I fell from the grace of Elune?

Tyrande yells: You will be forgiven, Eranikus. Elune will always love you. Break free of the bonds that command you!

Eranikus, Tyrant of the Dream yells: I... I feel... I feel the touch of Elune upon my being once more... She smiles upon me... Yes... I...

Tyrande yells: Praise be to Elune... Eranikus is redeemed.

<Tyranade Kneels before the dragon and Eranikus 'dies' before transforming into a male night elf>

Eranikus the Redeemed says: For so long, I was lost... The Nightmare's corruption had consumed me... And now, you... all of you... you have saved me. Released me from its grasp.
Eranikus the Redeemed says: But... Malfurion, Cenarius, Ysera... they still fight. They need me. I must return to the Dream at once.
Eranikus the Redeemed says: My lady, I am unworthy of your prayer. Truly, you are an angel of light. Please, assist me in returning to the barrow den so that I may return to the Dream. I, like Malfurion, also have a love awaiting me... I must return to her... to protect her...
Eranikus the Redeemed says: And heroes... I hold that which you seek. May it once more see the evil dissolved. Remulos, see to it that our champion receives the shard of the Green Flight.

Tyrande nods.

<Tyrande stands>

Keeper Remulos says: It will be done, Eranikus. Be well, ancient one.
Keeper Remulos says: Let us leave Nighthaven, hero. Seek me out at the grove.

I've just done it as MM hunter with 2xt5 pieces. I've disabled thunderstomp from my turtle as it ended agrowing too many shades ... so just staying inside the house, redirect to agro 2 o 3 shades, rise and repeat till Eranikus lands.

Seems like this event is bugged at the moment, and Tyrande doesn't appear, though you can still see her yells and complete quest.

Solo'd today as an 80 combat rogue my first try. Not as hard as soloing Weavil, but it he had me down to around 5k health at one point. Clear the main area of all the ghosts and then Eranikus will spawn. Basically, you're going to have that debuff that increases your cooldown by 10 seconds up most of the fight. While it's up what you want to do is use Sinister Strike (and Revealing Strike while SS is on CD) to build points, and keep Recup up 100% of the time. Any spare points you have can go to SnD, and then a 5 point Rupture if everything else is rolling. Use cloak when you have at least 5+ stacks and the debuff on you. Evasion when you get low to give you time to let Recup tick while you don't take any damage. The fight was long enough for me to use Evasion twice and Cloak (untalented) 4 times.

If I had wiped and had to do this again, I would have used a Potion of Resistance and using a Flask of resistance to give me 100 nature resist, which should lower the damage by a lot. Also would have glyphed Evasion to give me some extra time to heal without taking damage.
