Find Apothecary Staffron Lerent in the Hillsbrad Foothills past Ravenholdt Manor.

Description

Look, the actions of a rogue apothecary are not my concern. If he's undermining our efforts, then let me be the first to point you in the right direction

If he's innocent, then he's got nothing to hide, right?

I purchased the goods from Apothecary Staffron Lerent. He's working in a secluded area past Ravenholdt Manor in the hills over Hillsbrad. To be honest with you, I thought he was a little odd.

Completion

Yes, I made those fragrances. Wonderful smell, isn't it? Irresistible.

Once the warriors of Alliance and Horde alike are smitten with these feelings of love, they will be powerless to stop the rise of the Shadow Council.

They will be weakened, unprepared. As they worry for their loved ones, they will lose their edge.

The solution was so simple. Why did it take me so long to come upon it? The weakness of all is through the heart. And there is nothing you can do to stop the inevitable.

To Find Apothecary Staffron Lerent for Alliance from Southshore:
Follow the river north until you come to a fallen tree (68,32). The tree is mostly in the water. Turn to the right (East) and go up the ""valley"" between to hills (slightly to the northeast of the tree). On your left you will see a very small path (72,23) that will zig zag up. Take it up to the tunnel (77,19).

Once out of the tunnel you go follow path towards mansion, then take a RIGHT past the garden and mini-archery arena. Follow the path, and take a LEFT where there appears to be a drop (84,25). Keep following it LEFT.

Then you will see him at the end of the path (https://vanillawowdb.com/?npc=16107 89,74), and a mini pond.

If you pay attention after completing the quest, and don't just run off, Staffron has a conversation with his ""lost love"" - his wife arrives in ghost form, and cannot be targeted, though she does emote if you click on her.

Conversation:
Annalise Lerent says: Staffron...
Apothecary Staffron Lerent says: Annalise? Is that you?
Annalise Lerent says: My dear Staffron, have you forgotten what it is to love? The love that we once shared?
Apothecary Staffron Lerent says: Have I forgotten? Of course I have... I have forgotten about love, happiness... of life itself.
Apothecary Staffron Lerent says: But I do know this - love makes the heart and body weak. It can be exploited. Without your love, I have only my work, Annalise.
Annalise Lerent says: But of course I love you, Staffron. And it pains me to see you suffer so.
Annalise Lerent says: I pledge my love to you forever. Death cannot erase that, even as I am sure that you still remember your love for me.
Annalise Lerent says: And if you do not, then I am truly lost.
Apothecary Staffron Lerent says: How could you love me, Annalise? Look at me. I am not the man you once knew.
Apothecary Staffron Lerent says: Annalise? Annalise! No, don't leave me!
Apothecary Staffron Lerent says: Annalise... You're right. I-I can't do this. I must find another way.
Apothecary Staffron Lerent says: You there. You're welcome to take the contents of my cauldron. It was to be the second stage of my plan - amorous clothing.

I never found a fallen tree , possibly it's been removed for some reason idk... just cross the river directly behind Tarren Mill, use the path described above and go around to the back of the castle the directions are acurate just a bit long ...

looking through the pics pic number 5 was the best thing i found i got there with no problems so i completly sugguest just working on that ..

Remember to get the achievement, you need to ""open"" the cauldron and pick a quest reward. Only after you choose one will you get the achievement ""Nearest and Dearest.""

There's a path at (75.3, 24.3) in hillsbrad foothills that leads up the mountain and to a cave. Two NPC's are outside and will say ""Watch your back, stranger."" (Or at least they had for me. I have never been there before and just became neutral with this faction.) Go inside the cave. There is a chest on the left that says ""DANGER! Do not open! Move along!"" when you move your cursor over it and has some kind of blue floating crystal over it. (Does anyone know what it is for? I couldn't open it.) Keep going until you come out on the other side.

If you go inside the manor and through the doorway with the blue curtain over it, downstairs is a gnomish engineer who sells engineering supplies and Schematic: Gnomish Cloaking Device so any engineers may want to pick this up while they're here or anyone who wants to sell it on the auction house (however, I am not sure how much it goes for). There is also a poison supply vendor for any rouges. Upstairs is Fahrad who gives the reapeatable quest, ""Junkboxes Needed"" which requires Heavy Junkbox x5.

Apothecary Staffron however is not in the manor. To get to him, you must go past the garden and the little ring and up the path. It isn't so obvious so be careful. When the path appears to end, go down and to the left. After a short ways, Apothecary Staffron is waiting. Don't forget to get your dress or suit from the cauldron though!

The path starts at EXACTLY (76, 24). Head straight North from that spot. It will take you up the hill, to the right, then to the left, then through a cave/tunnel. Follow the path to the Manor. Do not go inside. Go to the right and you will see a small dirt arena. On the other side of the arena, there is another path (you should be heading south now). You will get to a spot on the path (85, 25) where it looks like you are going to fall off. You won't. Drop down one level, and make a sharp left turn. THAT is the path that leads you to the Apothecary guy next to a cauldron.
