Retrieve the Prismatic Shell for Archmage Xylem. The Archmage resides in a tower atop the cliffs of Azshara.

Description

There isn't much time, <name>! My scrying spells have revealed a powerful source of magic. I cannot leave the tower, and would ask you to kill the vile creature in possession of this artifact.

The pathetic little cretin is known as Warlord Krellian, hiding behind his guards in the Temple of Zin-Malor. Burn him to ashes and take the prismatic shell he covets so dearly.

I must say, this shell has a strange aura. It seems only fitting that part of your reward for retrieving it would be to test its magical capabilities...

Warlord Krellian is only level 55 and is located pretty much right in the center of the map for azashara in the temple of zin-malor (as the quest says).

You can find Warlord Krellion in the centre of the Naga Temple, return the shell to the Archmage.
When you get the followup quest, go to any Spiteslash naga, polymorph it as you usually should, then wait for them to ""split up"", quicky run towards the sheep, and use some AoE spell that will kill them instantly. This quest can be done in a good 20 minutes.

While you're doing this quest, you might as well check the upper levels of the Temple of Zin-Malor for the rare spawn General Fangferror. He should be a peice of cake at level 60, and has roughly at 25% chance to drop Jooho's Mercy, a BoE blue item that sells quite well in the auction house.

I did this on my 69 mage (I completely forgot about doing this at 60, and then just never got around to it).

It's simple enough to do, polymorph the nagas in the area, using sheep poly. Then stand right on top of the sheep; they will turn back into the naga for about a split-second and poof into clones - then just do arcane explosion. Otherwise they run all over the place and die on their own, but you won't get credit unless you kill the clones yourself.

They spawn anywhere from 2-5 clones; don't know if it applies to level or whatever; there was another mage doing the same quest It took me about 10 minutes, should take you about 5 minutes if you have an epic mount and no one else is in the area who will kill you (pvp servers ftw) or the mobs you need.

....now to talk my guild into a ZG run. I miss having my turtle poly.

Oh, PS; that rare was there when I did this, he just dropped a +spirit cloak. So at least it'll be worth a shard or essence.
