Description

I have removed that foul moss from the heart, but it remains tainted...

Try placing the heart in my planter. It is filled with a nutritive soil that may cleanse and heal the heart.

Reward

You will receive:
Cleansed Timberling Heart

Progress

This planter is filled with soil, specially prepared by Denalan.

Completion

You place the heart within the planter, and it quickly digs itself in!

A few seconds later it wriggles back out, cleansed. It pulses slightly... beckoning for you to take it.

Gains

Upon completion of quests, get:
  • 225 experience (5 40 at max. level)
  • 250 Reputation with Darnassus

I completed this quest at level 80, and the Timberling I summoned from the reward was also 80. And trust me, it is more than enough to ""protect you"" in that zone.

after u summon a timberling once can u summon it again?

I don't know if anyone else had this problem, but after Cataclysm I had to go back to Denalan's planter by Lake Al'Ameth to get the cleansed heart. It didn't show up in the one at his new location. (Co-ordinates 59.8. 59.6)

Interestingly enough, I did this quest long ago, but while flying around Teldrassil I noticed Quest Completist said I hadn't. Found the rare, killed him, turned it in Denalan, tried completing this step at the planter... failed, duplicate item found... because I still have the original cleansed heart in my bank. Hooray for two timberling guardians?
