Huge Toads can also be found in Zul'Drak. I spotted several in Drak'Sotra Fields but haven't looked elsewhere in the zone.

Loving them is required for the achievement added in the 3.0.8. patch: To All The Squirrels Who Shared My Life (not currently found in wowhead, I notice). This is the follow-up to https://vanillawowdb.com/?achievement=1206 To All The Squirrels I've Loved Before .

This critter is part of the To All The Squirrels Who Shared My Life achievement added in patch 3.0.8.

Have you flyer and don't want to demount? Then don't! Just fly over the zone (or run for Huge Toad and Lava Crab) and spam this macro:

These guys seem to share spawns with the regular Toad critters in Swamp of Sorrows, making them a little harder to find. So if you're looking around in SoS and not finding them, don't give up, just keep looking.

As stated by the previous posted these are located just SE of Argent Stand in Zul'Drak. No need to visit Swamp of Sorrows.

You should visit SoS to kill a Moccasin for Pest control.

Useless fact: They actually have 8 health and not 1. 0_o

I can confirm that this mob still spawns in the Swamp of Sorrows, but is much rarer than in Zul'Drak.

Also the https://vanillawowdb.com/?npc=4953 moccasin spawns in Swamp of Sorrows for https://vanillawowdb.com/?achievement=2556 [Pest Control]

I farmed 6 of these in Twilight Highlands and none of them dropped anything at all.

So that being said, it is very safe to say these drop nothing. Critters have no loot. You will get nothing from them beyond the kills for the achievements listed above.

Can someone explain why the ""Drops"" section of this page says it drops Volatile water etc, when in fact it doesn't drop anything?

YES! That is what I'm looking for Volatile Water. And the giant toads don't drop them as stated?

Drak'Sotra Fields south from Argent Stand is the only (at least surely the best) place in ZulDrak i think

Why does it say that these guys drop volatile water?

As of 5.0.5, these are nowhere to be seen in Drak'Sotra Fields in Zul'Drak. There are now water elemental pets called Water Wavelings wandering about.
