Very long but rewarding quest chain with a twist. About this twist, you will get many clues that the cause of these items you're gathering is not so..... in good faith with the people of duskwood.

Something to keep in mind for the rest of this chain: As you work your way through this quest, you'll have to run between Abercrombie + Darkshire a lot. Instead of running it, I found it much faster and convenient to fly to Sentinel Hill (Westfall) from Darkshire and simply run across the river to get to Abercrombie.

The NPCs of this quest keep telling you things like ""It has a thousand uses, from binding evil spirits to sewing life into inanimate objects. ""
