This guy can be found in the pit near the outhouse. Its called the Grimsilt dig site I believe. He is in a little pit and has 2 lvl 43-44 geologists around him.

Clear the pit and the camp at the top of the ramp first then get the quest. He will walk up the ramp and across the road to where the glass spiders are. You get one spider at a time...easy enough. Then you will come to a part where he will say something about the cauldron, then walk up a wooden plank then want to take a breather. As soon as he is done tkaing his breather you will get ambushed by 4 lvl 42-44 mobs. He can tank one but not two.

After that, its easy again. He gets close to the gate and gets shot and dies. When he dies he drops a note for you to read and that gives you the next part of the quest.
