Search through the packed up possessions for a clue.

Description

My father was the caretaker of the estate long before I was. He had to mop the blood up after the massacre. But that's neither here nor there.

The last funds of the Flintridge trust have dried up. Now the last of the family possessions are headed for auction. Blame the tax vultures. I guess if you're really itching to learn more you're free to look through this junk. Who knows what you might find.

You slowly slide the lid of the crate off. . . .

Gains

Upon completion of quests, get:

the crate for the journal page is right behind the guy you talk to. check out the pic i posted. it is the one that is lit up behind him. click on it, get the page, then fight a lvl 25 ghost.

The ghost was level 26 when I did it.

Also, if things are consistent, she will show up to the west of you, by the wall.
Just be sure to DOT her before she sheeps you.

like i said in an earlier post.. just run from it if youre avoiding EXP gain. and if youre doing this chain for the item level 35+ 1h axe like me, then chances are you are a paladin. simply bubble out of the curse :P

If you just run over the bridge after picking up the next quest she will simply drop dead, no need to fight her ;P

I just did this on my mage... after the ghost cursed me a guard came in and 1-shotted it. City guards FTW!

After opening the crate and getting the ""A Torn Journal Page"", I was attacked by a Level 26 Forlorn Spirit. Did ""The Curse of Stalvan"" on me. All Attributes reduced by 5 for 10 minutes.

Killed by a Stormwind City Guard that showed up out of nowhere, which was nice, as my Latency was 2708ms at the time. :)

FYI, if you happen to be able to stealth (basically rogues and all nightelves) you can hit stealth as soon as u accept the items or quests for all parts of this quest chain. doing so prevents the ghost from aggroing you, sparing you an annoying curse and an unneccessary fight. on my druid, i just hit prowl and walked away. Im not sure if she aggros if u drop out of stealth tho. also for this part of the chain, if u time it right, sometimes 2 guards walke by on patrol. if u wait till they are nearby to grap the page from the crate, the lvl 65 guards will aggro the ghost as she aggros u and curbstomp her.
