Description

There was a bundle of parchments in the chest upstairs when I moved into this place. I looked at them once when I first arrived but I gave up once the fog hazed over my peepers.

Do an old, nearly-blind man a favor and check the chest upstairs for anything that might help you in your quest to discover more about this Stalvan character. I'm pretty sure there's a faded journal page that might be of interest to you. Bring it to me and I'll help in anyway I can.

When you go to the East Vale logging camp you will see a tree turned over to make a tunnel entrance to a house, there will be a guy just oustide with the yellow ? over his head. He will send you upstairs to the chest, loot the paper and a ghost will appear level 25-26 you will have to kill it.

yea, just go upstairs and there is a chest in the last room upstairs. its to the left of the bed. i did it @ lvl 32 and fought a lvl 26 ghost.

i managed to not get that curse!!! as soon as I grabbed the papers I ran out and my pet killed the ghost... yah my pet was cursed, but I wasn't! :)

You also won't get the curse if it's still on you from SW. Mine had 30 seconds left when the ghost popped up, so I still had it, and she never cast it on me. :D

There is also chance you're cursed and sheeped by Forlorn Spirit, but my pet killed him already when i'm sheeped. Good job, pet :)

I managed to skip this quest somehow when I was levelling. Today I noticed this quest during turkey hunting for https://vanillawowdb.com/?achievement=3578 The Turkinator, handed in the item and as soon as I accepted next quest I got the message ""You have completed this quest"". Weird.

This is the only quest that has ever given me goosebumps:
Shortly after getting the curse, my speakers emitted a low tone, just at the edge of hearing, moments later, a short buzzing.
And now the darn thing is picking up Russian and British radio staions... But I've turned the damn sound off!

My WoWhead Looter AddOn says i haven't finished my quest, but i did done all before and all follow ups of this one.

anny way i can make my WoWHead Looter work normally on such quests (i have more quests with this problem...)
