Description

Argh! They want the impossible from me!

The Steamwheedle Cartel wants me to teach the Southsea pirates a lesson. The problem is that I can't be in two places at once; I need to stay here to keep the peace.

Of late, the pirates have been disregarding the protection money that the cartel regularly forks over. So I'd like to temporarily deputize you to go down there and show them what for.

You'll find them at Lost Rigger Cove, which is not too far to the south. Thanks <name>, I'll owe you one!

Reward

You can choose one of these awards:
Southsea Head Bucket
Southsea Mojo Boots
Also, you get: 65

Progress

Back so soon? I hope you taught those Southsea hoodlums a lesson they won't soon forget.

Completion

<name>! You are the man!!!

I'm sure that the Cartel will ease up on me now that you've dealt with those Southsea scum. Let's see, what can I give you as a reward? How about a little coin and you choose from one of these for your trouble?

Gains

Upon completion of quests, get:
  • 390 experience (23 40 at max. level)
  • 250 Reputation with Gadgetzan

This is, hands down, the greatest quest in the whole game.

If you are a Warrior, the Swashbucklers will piss you off. Especially in groups, as you will be disarmed at least 50% of the fight.

Go to the cave at 68,41 and you should find their encampment. When you first enter you will only find pirates, but go deeper in and you will find the other 3

All of the mobs are about level 42-44

Pirate - They can be found anywhere

Freeboter - They can be found anywhere also

Dock Worker - They are only found inside the camp and are always found in a group of 2 so you will need to fight 2 of them.

Swashbuckler -
Their mostly found inside the houses, you willl also have to pull 2 at a time. Maybe more if your not careful when interring the houses

Do it with https://vanillawowdb.com/?quest=8365 Pirate Hats Ahoy!

https://vanillawowdb.com/?quest=2875 Andre Firebeard should be in the middle guarded by 3 dock workers

If you have https://vanillawowdb.com/?quest=2873 Stoley's Shipment its at 72,46, inside the 2 story house. When you walk in make a left, its that house.

If you have to farm any of these mobs for more pirate hats, you should do so with the Freebooters. They drop Pirate's Footlockers that can contain map fragments that start the quest Cuergo's Gold https://vanillawowdb.com/?quest=2882 .

Some tactist (for a shadow priest :) ).

At 66.45; 40.44 you can see some Southsea Freebooter. Kill 'em.
Go to the left, into a cave. If anybody stay into your line, kill him/her.

But if you reach the ""compound"" border, catch care! Southsea mobs are everywhere, so pick uf a Shadowprom and kill, and sometimes heal yourself.

If you don't do it in solo, must bring a druid. From you and the druid's talent tree, 2 route were useable. Druid kill (in bear form), you heal. Or you kill with shadow and druid heal.

If a warrior also go with you, druid and warrior kill, you heal. (Bring yourself enough mana potion)

It was pretty easy as a 41 mage... Use your ice barrier and your polymorph much and you will handle just fine.

As 3.1.0, the aggro range of ALL the monsters is pretty high and they will all try to flee away.
Do NOT try this quest as a hunter before having Thunderstomp.

I'll probably incur some people's wrath here but... if you're high level grinding these mobs for rep and see some people around the quests level, have a little respect for your fellow players and be kind enough to either hold of for a bit or ask if they want some help.
It can be incredibly annoying trying to quest here with 2 level 80's AoEing everything in sight.

One awsome quest. Though it can be really tough when you're trying to kill the Swashbucklers and Dock Workers as they travel in two's. I advise having more than one person if you do this quest. I think the quest is worth doing though because the Southsea Head Bucket is a very good reward.

Swashbuckler - Their mostly found inside the houses, you willl also have to pull 2 at a time. Maybe more if your not careful when interring the housesYes, I want to verify that one must be very, very careful when interring houses. You need simply gallons of embalming fluid, for starters, and quite a large plot of land. Budgeting to hire enough laborers to dig the grave (which will be quite large, assuming your house had an average floor plan) while remaining on-schedule for the ceremony can be quite a tricky balancing act.

Lastly, one must allow for the possibility that other houses which were acquaintances (or lovers) of your home may wish to attend the service, necessitating vastly more guest room in the seating arrangements and possibly contracting the aid of specialists who can detach and relocate both foundations and entire homes.

All in all, it is best to inter homes as infrequently as possible. This is why regular care, maintenance, and improvements to prolong the lifespan of your living space is so important it can pay off in more ways than you might expect.

Then, you can use all that extra time (and money) you have to support your swashbuckling pirate-killing exploits!
