Description

Although this quest seems useless for anything other than 3 gold 92 silver, it has a purpose.

It is a pre-requisite for all the Tier 3 quests. That is, you must complete this quest before being able to get Tier 3 items.

The mobs in this quest are the trash mobs that are at the beginning of each wing. So it's best that your guild tries to clear some of each wing to complete this quest, and then focus on 1 wing for bosses.

Just turned it in: I picked it up way back when, but completed it in the 80 Naxx.

It gave me credit towards https://vanillawowdb.com/?achievement=978 3000 Quests, but not for either https://vanillawowdb.com/?achievement=1677 Loremaster achievement

Anyone else get credit for it?

Today I picked this up after clicking through a quest that attuned me to Naxxramas at no cost. Perhaps they reintroduced it?

This quest is still aviable but you need to complete The Dread Citadel - Naxxramas (honored-revered or exalted). Hope this helps.

""This quest is no longer available within the game"" needs to be removed as it still is, and is still completable. ....Until 4.0.3a, which removed every Naxx40 quest.

I've got a good story for this one. :)

I picked it up in early 2007 when I levelled my long-awaited alliance Shaman through EPL. I never got it finished back then, although the guild ran a ""fun-raid"" to Naxxramas 40-man version while it was still up. During that run I killed off a few of the questrelated mobs. At the release of WotLK I did no longer play the character but I decided to level it at one point and went into Naxxramas at level 80, killed the last few required mobs for the quest to complete. And then I realized: I had had the Q for nearly 3 years. I forgot about it and today, 1 year later - while doing the candy bucket-achievements for the Hallow's End-event I went into EPL and Light's Hope Chapel for pretty much the first time since 2007. When I saw Commander Eligor Lightbringer I thought... I'll never turn that quest in. And oh... The irony, it took me nearly 4 years - and it is only worth 57 silver...

Was removed from my quest log in patch 4.0.3a so I think it has finally been removed from the game.
