These guys wander around different areas of the zone. Easiest ones to find are by the hippogryphs.

I always see 1 spawn near the gnolls, 1 near the ogres and hippogryphs, and 1 near the pavillion. They wander around, so chances are if you grind youll eventually find them

When looking for theese I usually just grind hippogryps around 54.70. There seem to be two different kinds of treants taking turns spawning. Only one of them works with this quest.

Spawn-point of Wandering Forest Walker is at the hippogryphs are: if you are at 57.73, look southeast towards the nearest tree, this particular green tree that sits outside the rim of the Ruins of Isildien that has a brownish-purple tree attached to its right, is the spawning point for this particular mob. It spawns every 4-5 minutes and comes up in front or behind this tree.

a section to the right of the road (coming from camp m) has fairly predictable spawn points: go to 51,49 and face north. they will spawn either in that area or to the right, behind the large tree.

Just FYI, the Cursed Sycamore (https://vanillawowdb.com/?npc=5881 https://vanillawowdb.com/?npc=5881) won't work for this quest

If you are doing this with a group, everyone can select the corpse and use the Muisek Vessel. As long as everyone clicks at the same time, every member will get muisek from the corpse.

if you are a hunter, it's easier to find the treants if u track them. they're elementals. atleast it helped me

The elementals that are needed for this quest spawn approximately every 5-10 minutes in the general vicinity of 57, 73. My suggestion is to grind on hippogryphs for xp while waiting for the wandering forest walkers to respawn. Otherwise, this quest will take all day, and even the xp would not be worth the trouble.

You can make a macro ''/target Wandering Forest Walker'' and spam it.

Hope this helps.

Ok tried to make this easy for everyone involved. I picked up this one up @ 83.46 and tracked him in a full loop. Wanders slightly N/NW and crosses the road north of the camp @79.42 still heading slightly N/NW crossing the river @75.38 into the woodpaw camp where he turns and heads mostly south. At 69.46 begins to double back until you reach 83.46 and the loop is complete. Camped him at the road crossing @ 79.42 waited for ten minutes and hell cross it again. The three you need for this quest is a much better 30 minutes spent waiting for a respawn the aimlessly wandering for hours looking for a single one. Hope it helps. Oh and special shout out to the two ganking NE hunters while I wrote this. The /spit from both of you really wasn't needed.

As I stood at 56, 73 facing away from the temple structure, the treant walked by slightly behind me. I camped here for 5 min, and each time it would spawn and walk by this spot.

Great advice from Buck0129. Stand at his loc 79,42 face north. The mob appears every 9 1/2 or 10 minutes. Kill the first one, look at the time, leave your PC for 9 minutes, come back. Rinse & repeat

I did Cradle's macro for an even easier life

Ran around the patterns showed in https://vanillawowdb.com/?npc=7584 https://vanillawowdb.com/?npc=7584 spamming the /target wandering forest walker macro. Finished the quest in 10 or 15 minutes.

mob crosses the road every 9.5mins

Easy with a warlok - camp the tree at (57.94,74.15) (right next to the ruins where ogres are - but that won't attack.
Set up a ""/target wandering"" macro, spam that and when it spawns, send voidwalker to attack and follow the vw.

Tedious though, very slow respawn rate.

lots of good advice here already.

just wanted to add that i killed on pathing between dire maul and the main road. i headed west, and saw him spawn at approx. 50,48 killed him, he respawned about 7 minutes later, on top of a little hill, which he walks down. lots of wolves and bears to kill while you wait for him to spawn.

In quests like these, macros are your best friend.
Create a macro that says /Target Wandering Forest Walkers, and spam it from your taskbar. as soom as you get one, stop and have a look around.

If you have a full inventory and use the Muisek collector, the body vanishes but you don't get the item.

I learned this the hard way.

Sinkface hit the nail on the head with 83,46. Spawns about every 3-4 minutes or so. Did this quest in less than 10 minutes.

Sat at the coords 74,38 near the river north of the camp and then went to look up this quest. Spent about 15-20 minutes reading all this stuff and when I came back, voila, there is one of those walkers going right past me. It came from further north and was headed south-east, crossing the river when I grabbed it. So if you sit there for awhile, you can easily get the 3 muiseks needed for the quest. There are no mobs in this spot so it is safe to sit around and wait. =)

Just a heads-up....make sure you have room in your bags for the stuff you get off them, as no loot window is opened in order to give you time to make room for them

3.2 really made Feralas a much better zone for leveling in. No more chains that have you going all over the world, and the spawn rate of these guys was greatly improved. This used to be a PITA to complete.
