This is located in Searing Gorge. Go through the tunnel in Loch Modan if you can and follow the path. You should be able to find it near the pit.

54,50 u can go there without a fight. just enter searing gorge from badlands, follow the road to the south and when u see a camp of dwarf on the left side of the road, go to the right side. it is like a burn tree

23,300 xp in total for the quest chain. Even though the rewards are a bit crap it's worth doing just for that. It's also a very easy quest and shouldn't really take very long - probably about 45mins to an hour if you know where you're going.

As of 3.1.2 this quest rewards 7,600 experience.
The whole chain now gives somewhere around 28,000 experience.
Definitely worth the hour or so it takes.

There is a Flight Path to Searing Gorge called Thorium Point, it's in the North Eastern corner; and it is labeled on the WoW map. Will save you a lot of time. This is one long freakin chain quest. Lol! It is only five (5) quests, but it sure takes a while. If you land in Searing Gorge from Thorium Point, go around the west side of the cauldron, and work your way east on the southern side of the cauldron. It is a burning tree that fell on it's side. Coords 54,50 are accurate.

Confirmed: This entire chain does count towards the https://vanillawowdb.com/?achievement=1676 Loremaster of Eastern Kingdoms. I'm currently sitting @ 695 / 700 quests completed. If it wasn't for QuestHelper and EveryQuest addons & this Website, I would never have been able to get this achievement done. Kudos to the guys & gurls that work on this stuff. You have no idea how much I appreciate your hard work & effort to make our lives in WoW a little bit easier.
