Description

A far off land in Kalimdor awaits

Gloom and danger pock Dustwallow Marsh
But there lies a clue for those up to the test
Waiting to be found in a cave in the southwest

You find a musty scroll.

Found in Bloodfen Burrow at 31,66.. watch out for the raptors

The scroll is inside the cave at 31,66. Just head in and it's up on a stone on your left.

Even stealth classes are likely to need to fight so unless you are a decent bit higher you might want to fight your way in as the raptors are quite tightly packed and adds are very likely.

I gained 3600xp at level 42, soloed it pretty easy. Only attracted multiple mobs once.. and I had 3 on me. Died, came back and tried again. You have to kill all the raptors in the small cave to get to the scroll in the back.

You can get a quest in mudsprocket to kill Goreclaw just at entrance of cave with scroll inside (https://vanillawowdb.com/?quest=11184 https://vanillawowdb.com/?quest=11184).

That's a extra XP and easy to solo. Just take care, that's tons of raptors near him and before the scroll at cave.

The best approach is from the left side of cave. Wait and pull 2 patrols (1 at a time), 2 more raptors then Goreclaw.

Then go to cave entrance, 3 more raptors to kill, then get the scroll.

I can agree, you should go to Mudsprock and grab the quests, actually, do all the quests available for you there, they are really easy and doesn't take long time, It's really nice quests and you might find better equip while making them as well.

Very easy for shamans. Run in, drop stoneclaw, finish quest and pick up new one quickly, run out, done. Word of warning though, when you get out, a lot will be on you, so have a health pot at the ready, and 2/2 imp ghost wolf will help a lot.

Picked up the scroll on one of the boats south of Booty Bay.

First quest:

If you're a hunter or a paladin (between 39-42 I suppose) you can rush in, take a few raptors with you and kill them then take the new riddle
