There are four named beasts throughout the Barrens that drop quest-starting items. All of the quests are turned in at Jorn Skyseer in Camp Taurajo.

I have done these quests on three toons now, and still no buff or anything. I think it's broken...oh well! Not that big a deal anyways!

For those who are using targeting macros, the name of the bug is not ""The Harvester"" it is called Silithid Harvester. /tar the harvester made me bash my brains in cuz i couldnt find the guy, when he was there the whole time!
