Why are you smiling? What's so funny? Listen, mister, a gnomish battle chicken is a very important unit and not to be taken lightly - EVER. We send these in to areas that might be heavily plagued or infested and they clean up any plagued insects or carrion maggots that might still be fluttering about. Everybody knows that robots are immune to the plague.I bet you don't feel so smart now, do you? Big dummy...
1) Unlike other rep turn in quests, the initial turn-in does not give you a big chunk of XP.
2) Most of the items for turn in cost a significant amount of gold in the AH. You're better off saving your gold for something else.
3) The writs given are completely random, you won't get them based on the profession you have. For example, as an alchemist, I received the writ for Gnomish Battle Chicken... a BOP item that I had no way of obtaining unless I took up engineering. (A GM said that this quest ""functioned properly"")
4) Basically, in trying to gain 50 more rep, you may be spending more than 50 gold. And if you get a difficult writ, too bad, you just lost out on what could have been a sure 100 rep.
