Little Pamela

Find Pamela Redpath.

Description

So many of us died at the battle of Darrowshire. So many died... and worse.

When the battle began I hid my niece Pamela, and I do not know what happened to her. I am but a wandering spirit, but my heart still longs to know Pamela's fate.

Please, good <class>. Will you go to Darrowshire and search for her? It is to the east, beyond Gahrron's Withering.

Pamela Redpath is in the western house in Darrowshire wandering around. I found her at 36,90
Her doll is in pieces:
-Head 39,90
-Left side 39,92
-Right side 39,92
The head is in the small house and the other 2 pieces are in the bigger house.
Watch for the ghosts that pop. They are level 55 and can see through stealth. You need to open your bag once you have all 3 pieces of the doll and right click on them to put them together. GL and have fun!

If you get ""Sister Pamela"" in Winterspring, this quest isn't available to you, and vice versa.

The full quest chain for The Battle of Darrowshire:Villains and Heroes do both need to be completed in order to get Marauders. However, https://vanillawowdb.com/?quest=5211 Defenders of Darrowshire (the Uncle Carlin chain) does not need to be completed in order to get to The Battle of Darrowshire.

Questing with two others, all around level 57, we were brutally slaughtered trying to finish this quest. It should be an easy solo quest, but as we were trying to enter the town of Darrowshire, we were attacked by endless waves of undead (including elite https://vanillawowdb.com/?npc=10954 Bloodletters). Turns out someone had started the event at the end of the quest line, https://vanillawowdb.com/?quest=5721 The Battle of Darrowshire. So, if you encounter lots of elites where there should be none, this is why.

Creepy and heart-wrenching doesn't even begin to describe this quest chain. Sadly, there are a LOT of players who just take the simple quests, usually kill or delivery quests, and don't ever bother to read the quest text. This leads to most of the new players that I've seen to follow the advice of their ""pro"" or ""leet"" friends, and just hack-and-slash-and-button-mash their way through a pixelated world where the goal is to kill monsters, play your class perfectly and have the best gear, and this in turn breeds the ""better gear than me, he's a geek with no life, worse gear than me, he's a n00b and a retard"" ideology. But the worst thing about this is that these players, those who could get a much, much better experience with another playstyle, are restricted from actually looking at the appearance of a zone, judging their preference for it on another basis than loot, resources and experience, paying attention to the story, allowing the game to make them feel something and a lot of other things. People who do that are called noobs or geeks, just because they're playing the game the way Blizzard wanted them to, the atmospheric, emotional way, instead of subscribing to their friends' competitive attitude with name-calling, spite and min-maxing from the lowest levels. What I'm trying to say in this ridiculously tl;dr wall of text is that every player who ever quests in EPL should take a week or two off of leveling and grinding, just to feel the oppressive and dark mood Blizzard gave the place - which this quest line is perfect for.
If you're a new player, it will change your feelings towards the game completely, and if you're an old player, it'll probably leave you feeling cheated for not seeing this before.
Phew.
