I have to say that this is a VERY cool quest chain. Especially if you like following the lore and stories of the quests. The battle was really cool and then to see Redpath and his daughter reunite was super cool.

The full quest chain for The Battle of Darrowshire:Villains and Heroes do both need to be completed in order to get Marauders. However, https://vanillawowdb.com/?quest=5211 Defenders of Darrowshire (the Uncle Carlin chain) does not need to be completed in order to get to The Battle of Darrowshire.

Once you finish the quest and pick up the final reward, stick around Pamela. If you wait a couple of minutes, you'll see Joseph Redpath's spirit show up and meet with Pamela. Very touching reuniting scene between father and daughter, both as spirits.

Whoever used to claim that WoW had no ""endgame"" feeling...try some of the longer quest chains such as this one, it really gives you the feeling that once you've finished it, you're not coming back, but you know that you helped those people,ghosts,undeads,dragons,etc. in finding peace one way or the other, it feels like it's the end of a chapter in the game, that is what i'd consider an endgame feeling.
I'm keeping the rewards for nostalgia, that's for damn sure, no one getting my Tea with Sugar.

This has been my favorite quest-chain for as long as I remember. I do it on every character I get above 50, and it gets me every time. This time I thought I would do something special; get Loremaster on my current character and finish it with this particular chain. I planned it out perfectly.

So here I am. A fresh Loremaster, enjoying the reunion with a nice cup of tea. Success.

This quest have been somewhat reduced now in patch 4.0.3a but it is also VERY bugged, though it'll probably be fixed once CATA truely comes out. BUT! On the positive side, I now have two ""Tea with Sugar"" one for Pamela and one for me.
Though I'm really happy I got to complete the old version, this newer one feels a bit tame if you compare.

idk why it says in red letters at the top of this that ""This quest was marked obsolete by Blizzard and cannot be obtained or completed."" That is not true. I received &amp; completed this quest today 6/11/11.
