Slay Zhevra Runners to collect 4 Zhevra Hooves for Sergra Darkthorn in the Crossroads.

Description

The zhevra, although not the fiercest beast in the Barrens, are a shade tougher than the plainstriders. Don't worry -- we'll send you against bigger prey in good time, but for now your teeth could use a little more cutting.

Hunt the zhevra to the north and south, and collect their hooves. Bring them to me and perhaps we'll next send you against something tougher.

The best place to find these things is arround 60x,21y, the area near the bridge to Durotar.

There are a lot of Zevhra to the left of the crossroads as you follow along the path toward Stonetalon too. Zehvra around there are usually less hunted too.

I found the best drop rate at around 46,27. Just north of the road, south of the forgotten pools. Hooves weren't dropping at all closer to crossroads.

It seems they increased the drop rate since my main and other alts were lowbies. I got all 4 hooves in the first 6 kills on my new warlock. This quest is now way much easier than the hour it used to take back in the day.

I found a decent place to kill those for hoofs at 49,37. Should be enough to get all 4 hoofs in that place.

And you'd think since they have four legs they'd drop all four hooves in one kill =/
