Even though you have to find the ""Draconic for Dummies II"" manual, it does NOT make you able to speak or understand draconic.

Some people are able to speak draconic, but that is a unique bug explained here:

Just a useful tip for those of you doing this quest now, when you are taking a group through the harder parts(MC/Ony mostly MC since Ony is easily done with just one other person) to put the loot on FFA. If you leave it on group loot the chapter won't show up until the person who's loot it is loots the corpse. And at 80 don't really expect them to, save yourself the two weeks of waiting on a GM to restore it.

Well, its official, this quest CANNOT be finished by a level 60.

I have the other 7 chapters, and just need the one from Onyxia. A lvl 60 cannot enter the instance anymore since its 80, and the item is BoP so no mailing it. I submitted a ticket, and the GM told me that because of the 'evolution of the game', that they will not mail the item to a lvl 60 so the quest can be finished, and that if I want to complete it, I should level to 80. Thats real good... level to 80 to finish a quest line for a level 60, so I can get the level 60 reward item...

Sometimes I really hate blizzard, they are ruining the game for those of us that want to enjoy the classic content.

If you abandon this quest, you do not lose the chapters that you already have. I just found this out because I deleted the magical book binding long ago to make bank space, so I abandoned the quest and picked it up again for a new one. This information may also be useful to someone who wishes to abandon the quest to make room for another quest in their quest log. Of course, should your interest in completing the quest be renewed in the future, you will have to pick it up again to continue looting chapters.

and, while https://vanillawowdb.com/?npc=15552 Doctor Weavil is, according to Wowhead, only in https://vanillawowdb.com/?zone=618 Winterspring, that's not where you kill him for https://vanillawowdb.com/?item=21103 Chapter I, instead, its https://vanillawowdb.com/?zone=15 Dustwallow Marsh you have to kill him in. yes he is there, on https://vanillawowdb.com/?maps=15:751184 Alcaz Island. i figure Wowhead doesn't show his correct location because of a bug or something. while it is true that he spawns in https://vanillawowdb.com/?npc=15552 Winterspring where Wowhead says, its only for a quest event, and i don't think you can kill him at there. after all, you are a bit busy with https://vanillawowdb.com/?npc=15554 Number Two at that point.

as a side note, https://vanillawowdb.com/?npc=15552 Doctor Weavil also drops his https://vanillawowdb.com/?item=21130 Diary, which lists the areas where Chapters 2 to 8 are - in a VERY hilarious way.
